Gigging with The Sweetchunks Band is equal parts magical, hilarious and terrifying! We arrived back in lovely Wroot to find the chaps sound checking on the stage. Lizzie went up to join them as Dan started setting up the merch table and his cameras. Gigging in Wroot is always an absolute pleasure, a great venue run by Neil and Amber Sanderson, we've always had an amazing time there. Also a huge shoutout to Adie on the sound who always does a top quality job.

After the chaps there was time for our soundcheck, a quick bite of Pizza and then on with the show. We had a brilliant time on stage, the audience we're so generous and engaging that we really just lost ourselves in the music. We played a mixture of old and new, some more traditional and some more contemporary, and we even threw in cover with Lizzie making her live bouzouki debut!

Then it was onto the Sweetchunks who are some of the funniest people on the planet! They took the audience on a journey of science, love and bees. Culminating in the firing of the Glitunderbuss (don't ask) the night concluded and we went to the pub.
